Spotlight: Course specialist roared back to form in a Flat handicap here three days ago; has doubled up at the festival before but he is 10lb higher than when winning here in 2023 (16.5f soft) and was well beaten in this last year.

Spotlight: Bumper winner; highly tried to no avail after a maiden hurdle win at Punchestown in January; didn't jump fluently when last seen in a Listowel mares' hurdle in May; steps up in trip and makes handicap debut; respected given who trains her but others appeal more.

Spotlight: Standout effort this year a 1.75l second to Aurora Vega in a mares' Grade 3 at Fairyhouse in January; not as good twice since and lacks big-field handicap experience; probably best watched after a break unless the market speaks.

Spotlight: Won 2m Wetherby novice in January and then finished a 2.5l second in a Grade 2 novice at Kelso (2m2f, gd-sft); ran respectably on handicap debut when last seen at Punchestown (23.5f, yielding) in May; that experience should stand to him now; interesting off 1lb higher.

Spotlight: Last won off 119 in a listed mares' handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival in February; no impact off revised mark in three runs since, though shaped better than the result on latest; can't discount with Danny Mullins booked (on board for last three hurdles wins).

Spotlight: Finished 2024 in fine form, winning handicap chases at Wexford and Punchestown; rated 11lb lower over hurdles and shaped nicely on return from six months off at Ballinrobe in May; was fourth in this in 2023 off 8lb higher; could go well.

Spotlight: In fine form over fences and hurdles; has won two of his last four starts, a conditions hurdle at Down Royal and a beginners' chase on latest at Kilbeggan; decent efforts in handicaps at Haydock and Kilbeggan sandwiched between those wins; needs a little bit more off current mark.

Spotlight: Six-time winner (Flat and jumps) is 1-7 over hurdles; beaten a head in a conditions race at Cork (3m, good) by a 143 rated rival three weeks ago; didn't jump that well that day and will need to improve in that department to take this.

Spotlight: Started 2025 in flying form, winning handicaps at Ayr and Down Royal before finishing second off 135 in an Aintree premier handicap (24.5f, good); just 1lb higher here but needs to rebound from below par runs at Punchestown and Down Royal.

Spotlight: Won a Down Royal beginners' chase (19.5f, good) in May; below par twice since in a novice chase at Punchestown and a rated race on the Flat at Fairyhouse; returns to hurdling 4lb above last win; cheekpieces need to revive.

Spotlight: Course bumper winner (16.5f, soft) got off the mark in this sphere in a 2m4f Fairyhouse maiden in April (form hasn't worked out); unseated on chase debut on latest at Tipperary in May; this looks a tough task on handicap debut.

Spotlight: Stepped forward from seasonal return at Cork to score at Downpatrick (2m2f, yld-sft) off 124; up 6lb for that and has to prove his stamina for this trip in a harder race; chance if he stays (good chance he will on breeding).

Spotlight: First reserve; French Flat winner; won a Gowran maiden hurdle in March (2m, soft); beaten 22l on handicap debut at Aintree in April and this trip seemed to stretch him in a rated novice at Clonmel; others preferred.

Spotlight: Last two wins have come over fences; back to form on return to good ground in a handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23.5f) in late June, staying on for a 5.25l third; 2lb lower here and should go well again as long as there isn't too much rain.

Spotlight: Has been out of form since winning a beginners' chase at Punchestown (16.5f, gd-yld) last October, though has been highly tried at times; unproven over this far and has questions to answer right now.
